Default torque dampener?

i've been looking at torque dampener's for a little while now and the stillen one is very reasonably priced, but im just curious if it's evenworth it. do you even notice that you have it on there? i've heard that shifting feels a lot smoother just because of reduced trans movement. basically would you guys say that it's worth $130 or no?

ive heard that it actually makes a pretty noticable difference w/ shifting, throttle response, etc....I actually have a brand new stillen dampener sittin in my garage in the box that i cant use becuase i just got my greddy TT kit on. So it doesnt fit, so im sellin it. If you want ill give it to ya for 100 bills shipped

Yes, it's worth it. Though there are what appear to be exact replicas of the Stillen dampener selling on Ebay for a fraction of the price...

yeah the pass. side intake is right in the way of where the dampener would sit. i found this out when i was all ready to install it, i was so excited too...lol oh well

Get the Replica!! Replica is exactly the same and give a great shifting feel...... Our engines move like dancing ****** when FI........

I think you mean Ingalls? INGS is more known for aero parts.

thanks guys, i decided to go ahead and order the stillen one about 10 minutes after i made this thread so i appreciate the pm's you guys sent me offering yours to me, but i did decide to get one due to some of the responses i got on this board and a few others
