hey guys. i had my 06 z base model for about a month now..it has 1200 miles on it..and i noticed some weird noises in the transmission and while shifting..
when sitting there at idle..when i step in the clutch the sounds go away..but when i release it..i hear a weird noise.it sounds like the release bearings is going out (kinda)
then while driving and shifting (usually around 3500) it kinda sounds like the shifter is clinging against something..not sure..
maybe u guys can help me..and see if yours does the same thing or maybe u guys notice the same thing..thanks alot guys

These noises are apparently pretty normal. The idling issue is definitely a normal thing....not so sure about your second issue. Can you elaborate on it a little more? BTW, you're probably going to get the "search" answer on this one...there are a lot of topics covering transmission sounds. But, as a new owner myself...I'm going through the same thing...so don't be afraid to ask questions.
