Not speaking on his situation/behalf, but usually the ginny(sp?) pig, who would be Noah in this case, doesn't pay for labor, R&D, and usually is discounted on products, such as an engine in this situation.
The people like Hinson give them these benefits, because it ultimately benefits them b/c they now have a product or service that they can sell/provide. So because Noah had the ***** to go out and let them toss an LSX motor in there they didn't have to buy a 350Z to experiment with and now have the product/service to sell/provide for a profit.

 

I'm waiting for noahs car to be done then I'm gonna give hinson a call for a quote. Right now I dont think we'd be able to get an accurate quote because they are still figuring out what stock parts will work and which parts will need to be fabricated.

well more like 4 weeks......i just like preparing for the worst.....realistically once my car is done I would say a week for a drop off pick up turn around......

Remember I'm building a block from scratch.....most people will opt for a crate motor...that easily shaves time off the install

same thing as when the greddy TT's first came out....took people 40 something hours to install...now u can get 2 a week with a mechanic familiar with the kit....

i am going to beat the thing like it owes me money!

Its funny talking about this with my dad, even my mom is intrigued. She really misses her old Corvette. She likes the Z roadsters so if it comes out well I may get my dad to go in with me and get a LS2 put in a Z for her for her birthday in September. That'd be some browny points. lol My old man isnt happy about me building a powerful car after that accident I had but he's starting to like what he's reading when I had him read up on that new block. My uncle and his 03 Cobra that likes to talk **** to me has a very rude awakening coming when we get together at the race track for our 2007 family reunion. lol. I got a small video camera for my birthday last week that I can easily mount anywhere in the car to make vids. We will have to have an "LS Powered Z Meet" at the end of the year (if we dont kill ourselves) lol
