Ladies and Gentleman,

MY project has officially begun it's build stage as of late yesterday. The NEW LSX block arrived and hinson said they are blown away by that thing. It's a new Z06 motor on steroids. I requested some pictures now that I am aware of progress and will post them as they arrive in my email.

Only thing is it may be a 427 not a 454 due to the deck height and hood clearance.

poor me

To quite Brian Hinson "this thing is going to make some BIG numbers"

sickness!

I think I've given up on the LS idea though. My power goals are just too modest to justify that...

Once they have the kit for this, I'd definitely think about doing this.

Yep, one of the main reasons I am doing this is so that there is a kit available for people....i mean $6500 for a motor, tranny and the kit if you are a DIY'er...NO BRAINER!

What management are you going with for this? How does it integrate with the stock system?

I only wanted around 400whp. the vortech seems to be able to hit those numbers. As much as I don't want the headache of F/I, I can't really justify putting in a motor capable of 1000hp. unless it's cheap.

Who knows. BBK comes first, Better driver comes second, more power comes third. I did finish my suspension though.

Stock Vette ecu is used to run the motor...this then uses a hinson harness to plug into the NISSAN ecu...imagine the vette ecu acting like a stand alone....so in essence the car should be OBD2 legal

So all the stock gauges, etc. will still work? Are you the test mule for this setup?
