its cool and all to do this swap. can I ask ya why not just buy a diffrent car? Is it that you love the look of the Z? also want the power of a V8 cause you could just buy a vette for 40k have good power and spray N20 all day on it?

There's something inherently cool about doing something NO ONE has done before. That's why I'd do it at least.

Prolly the same reason I wanna do it. I want the power of my old vette...but I'm sorry..no car on the market beats the looks of the Z.

lemme rephrase that. No car for under $80,000 beats the looks of the Z. I could buy a Vette, but I'm not happy with the looks of the new ones and I owned a C5. Of course there are some high end cars that look better.

Vette is awesome performance wise... but the look... its hasn't evolved out of the 1970's.

Only old men with gray beards like the way it looks.

Yep. Just saw another brand new bright yellow ZO6 not 30 min ago...

Driver (literally) was an old man with a gray beard

Watch.... 25-30 years from now the Vette will be redesigned to look like a 350Z and then we will be driving them. All decrepid and arthritic.

That is also a LS1 used for fab purposes while I await things like 6 bolt heads to be released.....but she's coming along people!

They will be routing stuff using this motor as to speed up the process....the actual motor will be the bright orange LSX 454 we are all waiting to be completed.

Yea, keep the CG nice and looowwww.

There is more room in there than I expected; although, it would be nice to see how much room would be there with the accessories.

Does anybody know how much an all aluminum LS2 motor weighs compared to an NA VQ motor? A mildly worked LS2 would be more than enough for me. Just wondering how that would upset the balance of my Z and what my Z's weight would be (right now my Z weighs in at 3275 wet with full tank of gas and my 160lbs six in the seat).

Thanks for posting the pics Noah!
