I think a few of us 350Z owners are looking at this build as an alternative to the prohibitive cost of a "proper" VQ build. Hinson could have a lot of business coming his way if he can do this at the right price and performance ratio. At current prices, if my stock block were to go bye-bye, I would replace it with another stock block rather than go with the current forged alternatives. The V8 swap could be more economical, like to see the final results.

Well, I think a "few" is putting it politely. I think all of us who have been religously following this thread think the same thing.

^^^
Just trying to be conservative.

It would also be helpful if Hinson took the time to list some info on the 350Z conversion on his website. Even if it is a work in progress.

+1. I'm pretty thick skinned on most days and @sshole is actually a label that I can live up to most of the time anyway

You guys are the best............

Now I just got off the phone with Brian Hinson, and i am about 5 minutes away from my first heart attack, more problems with the LSX. After all of this my car may not have the LSX complete in time for SEMA (noone makes some of the parts I need)....so with his reccommendation we MAY be stuffing in some other LS2 motor with some gas until the issues with LSX parts are worked out....still be an 800hp car for a few days till i get my LSX in there....we will see.....(this will only happen if I run out of time before SEMA)

Anyone got any drugs they can spare.....cause boy can I use some!!!!!!!

Do a custom project and you'll learn all about slow progress.

LOL. Did all you guys roll out of bed on the wrong side? A custom project takes time...wow, thanks for that earth shattering revelation. I'm just venting my frustration at the delays and it's not even my car.

My sympathy to Noah.
