Idling rough, normal/not normal?
So I read about the clunking and the chattering on the threads but it was for M/T and I have a A/T so I was wondering if its the same because when I go from P to D I get clunking sound as well. Also I let my transmision teacher listen to my car and he is saying it's idling properly. As if there is a small poping sound or a miss fire of some sort. I told him that I thought it might be normal for the 350 to idle that way but he was unsure. If anyone has any info about it I would appreciate it, because I dont want to go to the dealer and make them take a new car and proove it to me. Oh, and does anyone know how long it takes the dealer ship to take care of the clicking sound in the rear axle?
The dealer will probably keep your car for a few hours to fix the rear click.
As for the idle...the Z doesn't idle smoothly. I had my idle raised a bit and it has helped but it still wavers quite a bit.
I also had some exhaust burps like you describe. I had them stock and I have them with my intake/exhaust.
