Default Air Condition line for Turbonetics ST

Well my TN ST burnt up my first line. I am wondering if anyone has had one rerouted or made a new one or if anyone knows where i could get this or get one fabricated? is this simple or what?

I wouldn't think it would be all that hard to get someone to fabricate one, for that's not that much to it, unless there's a secret to A/C lines, something I don't know about.

But your defiantly right about having to have it rerouted. For when I installed mine a week ago I saw that the line has no choice but to lay on the wastegate relocation pipe. In which I did heat wrap. Did you heat wrap and how long did it last before it went out?

You need to bend it a little... Just enough so it won't break.

heat-wrap the over-boostpipe and then heat-shield the A/C line, thats what I did and I havent had any problems yet.

Didn't the kit come with an aftermarket hose that was pre-bent to clear everything?

Actually, it's funny because I'm working on this exact project as we speak. Just a hint - aeromotive makes stainless steel braided AC lines.

Next month. I'm pulling the turbo off the car and upgrading a few of the components, ac line being one.

well... theres two ac lines... the one your supposed to replace with the one tn includes on the kit does not look like a prob on my set up... now the one that runs by the dipstick insert looks like its gonna give out anytime soon... and i cant push it any further away from the pipe behind the turbo... would love to hear something about those steel braided lines..

I have a brand new TN lower A/C line for a 350Z. I bought a 350Z TN kit and realized that I needed a different A/C line for my G35.

If you are out of the TN warranty, I'd be happy to sell you mine at a nice discount...I believe the piece sells for about $100.....that's what I paid for my G35 line from TN.

Let me know, and we'll work something out.

Turbo magazine just did a writeup on the T-Netics ST on a G35 (May '07 issue). They said you need to pull the A/C line away and wrap it with heat shield.

^^ That is true otherwise despite the heat wrap it will still be subject to extreme heat.
