Default '07 Ticking noise

Hi All,

The car has ~300 miles on it. After I accelerate past 2K rpm I hear this constant loud ticking noise from the engine bay area as I accelerate. It is incredibly annoying as my '03 was pretty quiet after 2K rpm and up (unless I was hammering on it and it just sounded badass after that). This is only when the car is in motion. If I rev it while in park the engine just revs normally without the ticking noise.

Could it just be from the cold (I live in around Boston)?...or will this perhaps disappear as the mileage increases on the car?

I would take it back to the dealer,
It could be nothing more then a heatshield rattle but i would think it's better safe then sorry!

Cheers

Kevin

bummer, my new 07Z feels incredibly tight and is noise and rattle free so far. keepin my fingers crossed. Pop the hood and see if you can hear it while someone else revs it a little.

I heard the samething lately with my 07 as well. Drove up and down the drive way trying to figure it out.

It eventually stopped, so I didn't bother.
