Not many 07 owners yet, so try taking it to the dealer or waiting to see if it gets better.

When you were breaking in your 06, was the idle silky smooth?

If I haven't driven it overnight, my idle usually starts out around 2k rpm. I let the car warm up for a few minutes and it usually idles around 500 rpm. It might be just the oh sooo very cold weather we have here in California. :P

Yeah, no problems that I can recall. The only issue was with the clutch. For a while, it would be "chattery" when sitting in neutral. The sound would go away if I depressed the clutch. I havent noticed it much lately. Not sure if its because I've been driving with the windows up more (winter), went away, or if I've just gotten used to it.

But no problems with the motor running rough at idle.

It just seems to vibrare alot. I can feel the shifter vibrating as well. Even after long driving, the idle does not seem 100% stable. Like it will fluctuate just a tiny bit once on a long while. My 165K mile Integra'd idle is rock solid.

The only shaking I get is starting out in first, right as the clutch engages. Other than that it's smooth as silk. Then again, my silk might be someone else's sandpaper.

I have the occasional "lumpy idle" but only when the car is fully warmed up. Dealer said it was normal, of course. Maybe it is.

I get that viberation in the shifter as well, especially if im in 3rd gear for example and i like the rpms drop down its starts to do that, wonder what could it be?

There's a harmonic in the drivetrain that creates a peak shudder or vibration that's felt through the shift linkage. I feel it if my hand is on the shift **** as I'm decelerating in certain gears.

I,ve got an 07, and I noticed the low RPM at idle (500 or so) and some strange vibration through the shifter as well. Talked to the dealer and they said these things do idle at 500 when warm. I was concerned, but after reading through this, I feel much better. Thanks for the knowledge. Now I know it's not just mine!

It is perfectly normal for the shifter to vibrate, it is directly connected to the transmission. The person the with integra that the shifter never moved, is because it has a linkage that is it connect to the tranny, and the linkage softed out the shifter vibrations.

Don't let the retards at the dealer fool you, the car should idle 650 +-50 rpm, not 500. The car idles like this because they screwed up something, what a bunch of morons. I hate stupid nissan
