by the way forgot to mention something about the ORC. There is a signature sound that ORC has =) People who know it will know you have an ORC in there. It makes a "Ching" sound when you start it accompanied with a higher pitched ignition =)

^^Hey Cloud, is the break in period for your clutch almost finished? Has the grabiness gotten any better from a roll? Can you give an updated review of your experience and feelings about the 409dbs?

btw, just curious what you voted for in the poll?

Anyone else besides Cloud have a orc 409 single or an os giken str dual on the g or Z that could chime in here?

grabiness has gotten better, haven't had shudder for a longgg time =), as long as you know where the engagement point is, you'll be fine.

So would you still copnsidert the orc 409 to be a "***** out" racing clutch setup, or not that you have gotten used to it--can you consider the setup streetable? How is it in heavy traffic?

It's still streetable, but I haven't had the chance to fix my clutch hydraulic issues. Could be better.

Can anyone guess at whether which integrated clutch/flywheel in the poll would be the quieter of the 2? (I'm asumming the 409--since it has a "silent option" and is a single clutch setup--However, the sprung hubs on the str look pretty decent and I think the flywheels may be heavier on the str. Can anyone comment?

Not sure but I think there is a sound associated with deceleration with twin plates. It's a sound only multiplate clutches have.
