For all intents and purposes, the answer is no.

1. 07 Plenum etc won't fit on 03-06
2. You have no way to control dual throttle bodies/MAF sensors

1)There's probably a 3rd party out there that can make the adapter for 07 plenum to fit on 03-05?
2)What if you use 07 ECU which utilizes dual MAF?

It's doubtful to be possible without a ton of custom work. Again because of the ECU issue, as well as the wiring harnesses. The wiring harness for 07 is majorly different. There is also the vehicle security feature on the ECU that prevents ECUs from being swapped from one car to another. It would be way cheaper to sell whatever Z you have and buy an 07. By many thousands of dollars.

Of course, if you want to give it a shot, go for it, I won't stop you.

yes - if you also get the wiring harness, and ecu, new accessories, etc then you can swap the motor in. Break out the black card for that swap

there are almost no similarities between old and new motors aside than they both came from Nissan and are both 3.5 liter V6's

At the point where you are swapping a motor in, you mind as well just buy the 07

If you're going to spend that much money, you might as well build your block and add some boost.

Crawford tried to do it I think, and scrapped the project when they saw how difficult and expensive it would've been to make it work.
