Ok just so We are clear ... I am not interested in getting an E-Ram. Just making a punch and or shadowing the ignorant mods mentioned here. Specifically reffereced to the interfooler..
The Ghias are Frkn Beautiful cars
I've had Three.
The Red 68 That I had was tons of fun.
Built up a 2016cc Stroker wth 10:1 Comp...ran on pump gas
and clipped off 8.1 Sec 1/8th miles..
Loved putting the Hondas to shame on the street and strip. Not to mention some other disapointed DSM owners.
All Good
this general idea has worked in some REAL racecars...electric fans have some really good characteristics, and when properly done, could actually make a big difference; electric motors have 100% of their TQ @ 0 rpms, can create large amounts of dP even with high flow rates.
The main problem is that the electricla system would have to be greatly modified to accomodate the current draw.
*this particular unit probably wouldn't do much and looks more like a turbonator, but the general idea works.
