Default Need help oil pressure running low

I own a 2006 350z with approxemently 54 hundred miles on it. Lately my cars oil pressure has been under the 1 quarter line mark, not exactly at zero but very close, i thought maybe it needed an oil change so went out and got it serviced with mobile one full synthetic oil and is still the same? It still runs between zero and the quarter line mark at "idol" only, when normal driving, my oil pressure is way over 60psi which is good but my concern is how low it gets during idol, should i be worried? should i take it to the dealer? or is this normal?, please advice.

Sounds normal too me. At idle mine is about 1/4 up. While driving when the oil is warm it is around 60-80 and it will go to 120 while excelerating while the oil is cold. I do not see that you have a problem. I do have a 2003 non rev up and it does not burn any oil between oil changes.

normal. oil pressure does not have anything to do with the level of oil in the engine (unless its super super low and well, you'll have other problems there). If anything, weather and the oil's weight will effect your idle (notice the correct spelling).

a quick search and you would have seen that was normal.

high pressure is bad when at idle, so you are running normal. next time please do some research before you go out and make a costly mistake of thinking your oil type is the problem

Yup, normal. That "1/4" mark is 30psi. When warmed up and at idle, mine runs a tick under 30psi with an 2003 and 60K miles.

Temperature and oil weight affect pressure the most. If you use the recommended 10w30 and the engine is completely warm (this can take a while), then 30psi or so at idle is normal.

After a fresh oil change from the dealer with regular 5w30, my oil pressure at warm idle is around 15 psi.
Seems low doesn't it?
