Hey guys I know this one probably belongs to the oil consumption thread but can anyone tell me how much oil I am losing if the oil level is right between H and L on the dipstick?

I have done 3 consumption tests so far and each time the dealer say it's only losing about 1/3 quart over 1000 miles, and there's nothing they can do about it unless it's losing over 1 quart.

The oil level according to the dipstick went down from "H" to right in between H and L on appromately 2200 miles of driving. Oil used was regular Valvoline and the measurement was done first thing in the morning before I start the engine.

(H)--->(L) = 1 qt.

If you're only down half a quart in 2200 miles, then it's fine. Enjoy your Z!
