Default shift **** question

Hey i'm about to purchase a 2006 enthusiast model 350z with less than 6000 miles. This is the manual model and i noticed that the shift **** vibrated regardless of gear and even in neutral.

Having never been in another manual 350z i just wanted to know if it was normal. The vibrations weren't very strong but a constant always there sort of buzz which i'm sure i won't notice after awhile.

Any feedback and suggestions for maintaining this particual model and year are appreciated. thx

Vibration is normal, but the question is how much? Drive another 350Z and compare.

Because the shifter is mounted directly into the transmission, there is a larger amount of vibration felt than most people are used to. It's normal.

Very Normal. Now you will feel it more with some ***** compared to others. I've changed ***** 3x and finally settled with the Forged Internals SS ****. Only Nismo I liked was the leather wrapped one.
