Took some sound clip recordings w/ a digital cam. Still breaking in my clutch/flywheel, so I didn't push it too hard. The cam was sitting in the passenger seat (so its louder outside the car ). If u listen for the one clip on the highway, u can hear a bike that flew by me. lol

Still have OEM exahust from y-pipe back, but the breathing mods so far are: MD 5/16 iso spacer, MREV2, Amuse Titan intake pipe and Nismo filter, Nismo jet-hot treated headers, Power Enterprise mettalic HFC.

Thanks guys! Yes, I am waiting on a custom full titan ARC single path exhaust (muffler and b pipe) and I have a tanabe y-pipe to complete the exhaust path. I should have it in little over a month. I'll be sure to post up more sound clips, when it is installed (and I'll get some from outside to capture the sound better)

Default Sweet

Good choice John the PE CATs are the best made high flow CATs that I have seen on the market; so much so I have them on my Z for the past 3 years.

They work well when I had the ATI Procharger and even now with the JWT BB700 TTs

Enjoy

Glad to hear good things about the PE cats --I'm very pleased with them as well

Have you experienced any thrown cel's after install of the PE cat's? The car pulls great, but I guess the tech says the 02 sensors after the cat need to be tricked to avoid throwing a cel. He's machining something for me that he did for his evo--so hopefully that'll take care of the cel--mostly to pass emissions (IL doesn't do a sniff, but they won't pass you if your throwing this kind of cel).

Unfortunately, that is a common issue with high-flow CATs, higher temps and flow rate can cause the error codes. There are O2 simulators available at most auto stores, or fabricating a plug nonfouler patch, as in your case.
