Default Opinion of Kendall motor oil

My 350Z is coming up for its first oil change. I have been going to an auto service-repair place for the past 15 years. They have done a good job servicing and repairing the Hondas I've owned. They told me they used Kendall synthetic for oil changes. Any opinions or experience with Kendall? Should I have them use Kendall on the Z?

Never used them, and I don't know anyone that has. I downloaded the MSDS from Conoco-Phillips, and Kendall's high-performance oils are a 91% G3 base oil, with up to 2.3% of the formulation using a ZDDP aditive. The rest of the formula is probably VII's. It doesn't seem to be anything really special. Their high-performance oils are very thick, so I don't see the point in using their oil, but if you do, be sure to get a Used Oil Analysis done to see if it was worth it.
