you cant really say the vq in stock form doesn't have ***** compared to a supercharged z06, you obviously haven't done your research on the hr I gave you a link to read, what more could you want out of the HR? It looks to be as strong as the RB...maybe the de wasn't exactly the strongest motor nissan ever made, but the Z's base price is 26k and is much nicer than a camaro...how much did you spend altogether on the z06?

David i wouldn't be braggin with a 560 whp Z .. you would be suprised how many cars on the road would kill that car.. especially issuing challenges

 

I bought it for 17000 with a blown engine from a government auction. Rebuilt the engine and procharged, I was in for 24000 when i was finished.

 

You cannot afford the gas for your old cars but can afford to keep buying new cars?

umm thats not all that much against a properly procahrged Z06 but that OT especially when its not your car

 

you can only afford gas for a NA vehicle, but you want the power of a FI V8. where the hell can you get a car in between that? anything that has more power is going to eat more gas.

you can turbo your Z, but then you'll be b!tch!ng about gas again. i think you need VTEC.

 

try comparing cars stock for stock, cuz you can be damn sure that my 03 Z owns my friends with their 4.6 and 5.0 Mustangs, N/A 91 300ZX (not hating, i love his car), and Trans Am, Porsche Boxters, VW R32's etc...

 

You could always go get a TT 300ZX, you could probably find one/build one for half of what you spent on the vette, and have just as much power, besides, with gas prices now days, it pretty much pays to have a beater civic+ mod'd sports car to save on gas, almost everyone I know that has a 400+hp car has a daily beater

 

the only car i bought was the Z06. scroll up.

 

I have a pretty much stock Z and still have a beater... saves on insurance more than at the pump when your 20.

nice cars, but i must say if you knew you didnt have $$ why did you 1) sink money into FI a v8 2)decide to buy a car that sucks gas like a hummer?

the cars are nice and fast etc, but gas, insurance, matinence etc are things you consider before buying one.

 

you are so right i should just powershift into a wall and pray the safety glass gives way so my body can fly through it.

 

The 08 need to come with, no less than 350hp.
