Im well aware of this. A stock 2jz will take 800 all day like I said, and some have been 1000hp. Obviously these numbers are not for stock turbos. Stock turbos will take you to about 400-420whp on 22psi on race gas. Depening on if you have cams, standalone....etc.... Throw in some 272 cams a 71mm turbo, an AEM standalone, a nice intake manifold, and 4" exhaust now were talkin 700-750hp

Stock turbo's have gone 500whp at 23psi and nitrous before bending the number two turbo's shafting in half.

With 264 degree cams and a 61mm turbo, they got in the 800+whp range which is pretty sick for any car.

It'll throw the weight off the Z.

Theres a reason why the Supra was so hefty, and the Z isn't. The Z can make plenty of power and keep its lightweight.

RB26DETT Skyline Twin Turbo Engine Swap. I know this will take a lot of work / money because id have to go AWD, new tranny, axles, etc. So i dont know if this swap would be worth the money. i dont even know what it would cost me!

APS Twin Turbo. -> speaks for itself.

2jzgte Supra Twin Turbo Engine Swap. I dont know if this swap would take as much work as the skyline swap, and dont know costs of everything put together, maybe someone else would have a better idea? but yes, this is my third choice.

IN CONCLUSION: im coming to the more knowledgeable 350 owners / modders to get insight and opinions on this topic. if you could compare price / difficulty / pros - cons /, or anything at all, it would be very much appricaited because im ready to get this under way ASAP.

Thanks Guys!
have you at all mapped out, realistically, what it will cost to do this? I'd expect a $20k build cost (on top of the car) to do it properly and not look yuor typical "swap" when it's all said and done...and not much change left over. No matter which way you go...twins and a VQ, RB, or Supra (neither of which I honestly "get", but to each his own), it's going to be very, very pricey

Well i ahve looked into the rb swap... good lord is it pricey especially when you dont want to destroy the weight balance of the car... in order to keep it blanced custom engine mounts and relocation of numerous parts is required ...noe of which can i find documentiation for.... it just seems like i could sell the rb and twin turbo my vq and save up to built a built motor while aquiring the otehr neccesary items... spending over 20k to wind up with an engine that is basically stock jsut sounds carzy to me... not mention the cost of parts for an rb.. go ahead.. research.. its up there with 2jz costs...
seriously... just keep the vq... ive ecided to go bakc to my original plan and drop it into either a 240...( i know i know...) or go with an old school datsun.... either way... why destroy a perfectly good marvel of engineering for no other reason then just to say.. oo look what i did... especially when theres multiple otehrs whove already done it...
