I have also driven the stock VLSD and let a few that drive other LSD's drive mine. One road racer I met at ZdayZ last year tried my Z out on the dragon, (He had the stock VLSD) and said he was going to get the Quaife ASAP!

I drove his while he was in mine and noticed that the stock LSD was always a hair late. That is to say that the inside tire had to lose traction for a split secound before the speed difference between the inside and outside tire would cause the VLSD to "lock." -Better than an open diff, but no where near as nice as the Quaife.

ok and what do you guys think about that nismo coooler. is it worht getting maybe at least for a good cover or something like that. or should i just not worry about it. i want to be as effecient as possible ya know.

and i know its epensive but i just have this thing about buying specific parts new. im sure there are some pwople on here that will agree.

so just for some more closure here before i buy this today. is there any other reason besides price why i would not want to buy this one.

and just to make sure. there is absolutely nothing else i need to get with this correct? thank you guys very much for helping me with my decision.

I would have liked to have had the diff cover with the cooling fins, (if that's what you are talking about) but the Quaife is pretty stout. I think lowering temperatures at the diff is more about extending change intervals on the gear oil in the LSD than preserving the LSD itself.
