These questions are for Z owners who know their sh.t well!!!

1. Does changing flywheel gain any horse power, or it just
increase acceleration?
2. my car still runs very good after 80k, I only drive really hard sometimes, do I need to change clutch or flywheel?
3. If I change them, I know my Z will run faster, but is it physically noticeble, can I acctually feel the difference than stock ones?
4. How does it feel while driving, will the car still be smooth like before, how does it feel when switch gears? Cause I heard aftermarket racing clutch when u shift it just engages fully or not at all, there is no mid point like stock ones, therefore makes the car runs less smooth during daily driving.
5. I heard the rpm will go up a lot faster like a little supercharger, but how about deceleration? when I don't step on gas, does rpm go down faster too.
Cause V6 VQ rpm# and speed has a set ratio, if rpm goes down faster means my car slows down faster in nuetral, then it won't run very smoothly unless I keep my foot on the padel.
6. What brands works the best?

i had the JWT clutch and flywheel installed and am satisfied so far.

the power gets transferred to the wheels better, but as for an actual horsepower gain, im pretty sure thats a no.

1. you "might" see a slight net increase in hp by switching to a lighter flywheel but this is not really what it's designed to do. By being lighter, there is less rotational mass - the less mass you have to spin, the less energy is expended during the "rev", so the quicker the revs rise and the quicker the revs fall. In essence, it makes the car feel lighter on its feet, and the engine feel more responsive.

2. do you need to? no - not if it's not slipping yet. Though at some point, yes you will

3. No one can honestly answer you this, as it depends how in tune with your car you are. I've had customers who notice an immediate difference, and those who can't because they don't pay much attention in the first place. It also will depend which setup you choose. I've yet to drive a Z with a flywheel, from NISMO to ACT Prolight(sorta opposite ends of the weight spectrum as far as flywheels go for these cars) that I couldn't tell a difference on - to me, each was immediately noticeable, and the change was greater the lighter you go.

4. If you are not building a race car there is no need for a race clutch. The clutches you should be considering (NISMO, ACT are my 2 favs) are just as smooth as stock. The flywheels do make things a bit louder, since stock is a dual mass unit, and the aftermarket ones are single mass (the extra weight adds as an insulator on a stock car), and you do need to slightly adjust your driving style since it will take more revs to get the car moving from a dead stop, but you get used to it immediately - within 50-100 miles of driving I'd say.

6. Overall my favorite is the ACT clutch + flywheel - as smooth as stock, quietest aftermarket flywheel I've used to date, and holds ALOT more torque than stock. There are no real "bad" setups out there that I've experienced, just some that have been better than others. Having used just about all of them at this point, that's my go-to favorite
