Unless you own your own shop where you can do the work cheap, I would just sell your automatic Z and buy a new Z with the 6MT plus warranty

With respect, if you wanted a manual transmission, you should have bought one. You already know that a conversion is out of the question.

A conversion would be stupid and costly - FAR more than it would be worth. Sell your AT and buy an MT.

wow just cuz its not a honda everyone thinks u shouldnt do a HR swap or auto to stick swap and this and that? everyone on all these threads think for a swap u should go v8 or sell your car and buy a new one really? what ever happen to doing swaps and changes just to say you did and keeping the car u bought and making it the way you want and also what is with these people commenting that dont know what there talking about half the time (just for the record if u do a rb26 swap it dont cost no 10k 15k or 20k like alot of you seem to think i did the reserch and i know people that did the swap 8k or less!!) i got a auto 350z 05 i will be doing the stick swap trannys are on ebay for 800-1500 all day u need part of the interior for the shift **** and also the linkege about 150 bucks and the auto computer can be remaped to stick shift from 300 to 80 bucks and everything links up just fine pedals not much so all and all u shouldnt spend for then 2.5k if ur rushing and if you take your time if you take you time and do the work yourself as low as a g-ish

Let us know how that goes for you, I know its not that hard , but most people don't have the resources to do it. Also, we have a lot of nintendo nerds on here that bring their cars tot he shop to get them worked on.
