Default Going NA

Well, I'm hopefully going to be new to the 350Z family here soon, so I decided to do some research and ask some questions

Car will be a daily and the budget will be rather skim for now since I'm heading back to school, however can't roll stock.

I was thinking of doing these mods and was curious as to roughly what the hp would look like

cams
clutch & flywheel
intake
full exhaust
plenum spacer
headers

I don't plan on going turbo or SC so no need for what if in the future.
Would it be possible with these mods to net close to 350whp?

misc stuff would be
lower the car
wheels
short shifter
body kit
...call it a day...

Thanks for any insight

+1 you would think 350whp would be the case what with Honda motors hitting 300whp, but maybe someday 350whp will be hit NA. Good luck

I don't even think you will be able to hit 350 on the flywheel with those mods w/o a tune. IMO those mods your planning to do is just a waste of $, it will cost almost the same going FI (nitrous). G/L though.

Since you mentioned having a skim budget, have you thought to consider how much your list is going to cost you???

Well looking at the prices of kit and labor to go turbo and to do it right will run an additional $12-15k (only shop I'll go to for that is SGP cause I trust mark like no other)

It won't be cheap. The NA route is one of the most expensive directions to go when modding a Z.

Save your money and go F/I. N/A mods are a big waste of money, you can go turbo for about 8-10k and make 350whp reliably all day long. Search a bit more

Nitrous is deceiving though. Cheap initial costs, but considering constant bottle refills, etc., it adds up quick.

its very inportant to get a reflash or piggyback, its definitely going to need a tune after all those mods. you'll probably hit around 270-280whp with cams and a good tune.
