Help ID this differential
I'm a bmw guy but I got this diff from a local auction in a lot. Looks new, is a lsd, I can tell it's from a nissan from ebay pics I believe . Any help would be great so I know what I have. Then figure out what to do with it.

what about pulling the cover and checking it that way? I believe it's a 3.3 for an automatic. What would I look for if I pulled a side flange ? Also whats it worth ?

You can probably get upwards to $300-400 for it. I see VLSD cores go for $200 on craigslist every two months or so. Since you still have pumpkin that'll probably bump the price a little

Does both of the stubs spin the same way when turning one of them?
if they spin the same way then it is a lsd
put a white mack on the input shaft. spin the stub shaft. count the revolutions. If it make 3 and a half then it is a 3.5 if it only make 3 and 1/4 then it is a 3.3.
You still will have no Idea how many miles that are on it or how it was used.
By the way you should have taken my offer.

well it's definantly a lsd. Both hubs turn same direction. It's a 3.357 vsld for a 03-06 ( possibly 07) 350Z automatic. 3.357 ratio only came in those years per nissan. Opened it up and it's clean clean clean. I decided to Flea Bay it. It's on there now. I don't recall any offers from here also,
