Question WTF Has anyone had problems with their clutch?? 2007 Z??

well wat a day. Just finished breaking in my 2007 MB Base Z i bought it 8/22/2007. i reached 1000miles and since i moving to arizona and need to go out there this weekend i decided to take the Z. Great drivie no problems til i stop half way their for gas. Im slowing on the on ramp when my foot just goes all the way to the ground. The clutch doesnt work at all. i coast to the shoulder turn off the car and try again. Clutch pedal has no pressure. it just falls limp to the ground. After i pumped the clutch a couple times it comes up enough to get into 1st. Get gas and take off to AZ. when i get there clutch feels better no problems. daily driving was no problem. thought it was over. But on the way back it started up again. Only does it when i drive freeway speed for 5 min or more. WTF is going on. I havent even had it for a month yet.....Im going to the dealer tomorrow. I cant wait to see what they say is wrong. Ill post it.

Sounds like the clutch slave cylinder is leaking. Usually if thats the case the pedal will have almost no feel, and you have to pump it to actually make the clutch disengage... I had this problem with my 240sx, not sure if it's same reason for your problem.

He is just saying that he got lucky for not buying an 07 with the clutch issue, and dodged the oil consumption problem of the 06s'.

I drove my 07 pretty far 2 weekends back, and somewhat aggressively, and I didn't experience this issue. From what I get then, only a small number of 07 owners are experiencing this?

Take it to the dealer. Sounds like a master cyl problem. Maybe you'll get a new one out of the deal. Either that or it just needs to be bled really bad.
