Ok guys, I'm new to this forum. I have a 2003 Track 350Z I pick up in spring of 07. I bought it with 42k in great condition. I let my local Nissan dealership do my first oil change, right after I got the car, to make sure things were all good and it's time for my second one.

I plan on switching to synthetic. I need to know what the best oil to use for my engine is. I change the oil every 3k or 3 months so I’m not worried about longevity, just something that is good performance wise and won't wear my engine.

I was deciding between these brands:

-royal purple
-mobile 1
-valvoline
-pennzoil
-amsoil

 

from ur choices id go with amsoil

ive noticed a lot of burn off with royal purple and mobil 1.

 

This has never been covered on here.........

 

Oh please God, no more oil questions. Just do a search and you will find more info than you could ever read in a life time.

I use Motul, but hey thats just me.

ok... i know there have been forums that are one oil vs another but i'm trying to see what will give me the best cooling with the least wear... so i'm down to 3 choices

-valvoline
-pennzoil
-amsoil

 

amsoil if it were down to those 3
