Default Run in stock mode?

If I want to run in stock mode for the winter, what do I need to do? Select zero on utec, change back to stock injectors? Any thing else? Thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly "0" is running the factory (OEM) ECU. But why would you want to if you're tuned w/ aftermarket injectors?

Just to be on the safe side. I was last tuned in 85 degree weather and I live in MN. Its like an average of 50 here now but it will quickly fall to below 0 here for a couple of months.

Guessing you're N/A? I was tuned in warm weather as well and ran all last winter (blizzard) in Colorado w/o any problems. If you're really nervous get a second tune. Depending on your mods you might do more damage running the factory ECU vs current tune.

Nope, greddy kit with supporting mods. I dont have the cash to get a tune for extreme cold weather and I dont have a beater to drive yet. I usually park it when temp drops until spring.

I don't think you should have any problem with your tune. Just watch your boost spikes & AFR. And I definently wouldn't run the factory ECU w/ any TT kit.

Ok so...doesnt the utec only compensate for like 15 degrees. Forgive the lack of intelligence in this area.

Sorry I can't give you an answer as I don't know. Contact your shop/tuner.

Why don't you just run some logs and tweak the map/tune yourself? Not hard to do + there's lots of good info over in the tuning forum.

But since you're TT, I would imagine the wastegates would keep the boost where it is supposed to be (according to spring tension) regardless of ambient temps?

It can compensate through the whole temp spectrum... If it was setup to do so by the tuner.

Aren't there like 5 different maps for 5 different ambient temp's? If it was tuned for them? Check in FI section or your tuner.

Sure - There's slots for different maps. They don't all have to be temp related maps though... You could have a race gas map, a street map, a drag strip map, an auto-x map, a run-from-the-cops map (JK), etc...

Utec can compensate for temps through the whole spectrum of ambient temps... It's not a map setting, but rather a "global parameters setting". Although you "could" tune for different ambient temps and save those off as separate maps.

UTEC's global parameter temp compensation feature doesn't have enough resolution for my liking, so I just manually tweak my map when the season changes.

Thanks everyone, I will check to make sure the temp compensation feature is on. She sure runs nice in these cooler temps. Anything else to check on or look for?
