Default Project 2JZ in a 350Z ** UPDATE **

Hello all. I would like to preface the following by stating outright that this is in no way intended as advertising. I know there are strict rules about this on this board and I do not want to upset anyone here by in any way pushing product or service for my shop. I know that the 350Z community is a very diverse group and know that some of you might find this following project I am doing interesting and appealing, or not.

Either way I would like to gauge the board's interest in this so that we can decide weather it would be wise to put together a package and become vendors or sponsors of this and other 350Z boards.

Run Down :
Custom mounts utilizing stock 350Z motor and trans mounts
Big 42R w/ my signature 4 inch turbo back stainless exhaust + Berns stainless muffler
100# PT Injectors
PT Too big Intercooler w/ stainless piping
Koyo 3 inch Rad
Dual Weldon Pumps with twin feed / entry rail
E11V2 w/ our propriatery CAN bus stock gauge cluster adapter

This is running a Titan 6 speed Supra tranny and stock 350 VLSD.

Obviously some of the stuff on the list isn't complete, but this is mock up motor for now. Powder coating and chroming to follow when the final motor goes in.

I did finish the AC lines and PS lines already and finished up the exhaust today. Waiting on some things to still get here from Titan.

The hood shuts completely and I did manage to redo the front core support to hold a 3 inch Koyo with the condensor still in front.

Well forget about a built motor for me, how much and do you take trades with 40k and a greddy twin turbo kit?

I have looked at you guys before, you all did the s2000's and rx7's the same way no?

We do all sorts of "off the wall" motor swaps. I think putting up our website and talking business in this forum without being a vendor or sponsor will get me in trouble with the mods, so for now I will just kind of stick to gauging interest in my first post. If this seems to be a hot topic, we will become sponsors / vendors soon !

bad ***....

but one question though. I thought the 2JZ is heavier than the VQ. Wouldn't that make it worse when talking about weight distribution, etc.?

If this is comparable in price to the LSx swap the Hinson fellow is doing... then yes. I would be interested but if it is going to be sky high, pass.

I don't think that this is as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be.
