I'v been looking at the nismo c/fw/pp, I want something better than stock, but driveability is still important. I'm just goin with the basic bolt on mods and maybe an ecu tune, so I'm not concerned with it handling a lot of power. Just wondering if this is the best option for me, thanks

it will work fine for your mods...why you would bother replacing the clutch when all your doing is simple bolt ons is a separate question I'd personally just do the flywheel

I have the Competition Stage 2 and the clutch feel week after a few thousand miles. I have never track my car yet and never did any burnout and I can't even get my car chirp on 3rd gear. I only have 370TQ and the stage 2 is supposed to handle high 400TQ I may have to change it to a stage 4 or a different kind of brand eventually but I only have 6K miles and 8 month with the clutch

I thought it was a good idea to swap out the clutch if you changed the flywheel, but I guess I was wrong, thanks for the help

use the same fluid as you use for your brakes - there really is no reason you should be overheating clutch fluid unless your doing 12 hour track days in the desert

im having the clutch master cylinder replaced cause on really hot days, after driving for about an hour or so i would lose my clutch.

and i read on here it might be a good idea to go with a steel braided clutch line and better fluid.

figure it couldnt hurt..........

I was driving under pretty cool conditions today and lost my clutch after like 20 mins of driving (3300 miles on the car). I did wheel hop through one take off but then after the next aggressive takeoff....lost it.

Came back to normal in a minute or so. What happened to cause that? Is an upgraded clutch line and fluid a way to prevent that?

Mine is at the dealer as I type this for a master cylinder replacement. I was told that the seals were deteriorated and this was causing the problem when the car was driven for much more than 30 minutes.

They are recommending I replace the clutch so I'm looking to the do the flywheel as well but NOT by the dealer. They quoted me $1100 for the clutch replacement.

There's a thread from a vendor for Exedy OEM clutch kit, ACT Streetlight flywheel and stainless clutch line for $609 shipped. I saw someone say it's better to go with the same brand. I plan to stay NA with an aftermarket exhaust later on. Does this look too low? Maybe I should spend the extra couple hundred on the JWT.

I have it and i have almost 390whp and it never slips. Its very easy to drive on the street, the clutch is a little more aggressive in nature, but only slightly so. The flywheel is about 13~lbs I believe and with this on the car, the engine revs up much quicker and easier, and drops revs much faster too. Forged gave me a great deal on mine, so it's something I would consider.

JWT is an ok unit, but highly overrated if you ask me, and considering its a stock clutch, I'd say a little overpriced.
If it's a stock clutch then how come it handles more rwhp? Why wold JWT use a stock clutch? Yo are the only person that I have heard that from. Can anyone else confirm that.
