i have a 2004 z that is supercharged. i just recently bought it used. But every time i accelerate fast and my rpm gauge reads past a certain point. my engine or exhaust, etc seems like something is burning. anyone know what that could be?

i have no experience with test pipes and the smell that i generated from not having catalytic converters, but that may be your situation. do you have catalytic converters or test pipes?

You bought a supercharged car used... if I were you I'd have it completely checked out and inspected at a reliable shop ASAP. Worth the trip down to GT Motorsports in Rancho Cucamonga in socal if Sacramento is indeed where you live.
I would NOT take chances with a used F/I car that smells like burning.
aite thanks for the help. i think it was just the transmission fluid and the differential. so ill see what happens for now. i cant really smell it anymore. thanks though
