Anyone try these tricks for more power
The link below is a great write up on tips for squeezing more power out of your car. Anyone try this stuff? Besides syn oil of course.

the motordyne isothermal spacer kits come with a throttle body coolant shutoff valve...
our IAT sensors are together with the MAF, no need to relocate
indexing the plugs for 1whp, not worth the effort if it even works
synthetic oil, sure.... but on these cars it's doubtful you'll see whp increase

you don't need the motordyne kit to bypass the throttle body. go to napa (or simialr) and get the correct size hose for the coolant lines that goes to the throttle body. you'll need a length of hose less than 3 feet long (IIRC.)
remove the coolant lines that run in/out of the throttle body. BTW, do this mod when the engine/coolant are cold! Also, remove the lines where they attach to the coolant pipes.
take you new hose and cut it to length so that you can run the hose directly from the driver's side coolant pipe arounf to the back of the engine where it hooks back into the coolant pipe coming off of the back of the heads. secure the hose with the stock clamps or get get some small worm-gear hose clamps.
Voila! throttle body coolant bypass mod! should cost you about $2-$5!
someof you might be wondering "why don't you just put a cap on each nipple on the coolant pipes?" the reason is that there aren't any good caps that will take the heat and pressure of the coolant system over time. I tried it, and within a few months, one of the rubber caps had started to crack and I had a small coolant leak.....if left alone, it would have become a geyser!!!!

I tried them all at one time or another. If the claims are up to 5 hp on a dyno, no wonder I never felt anything. I seriously doubt most of these make ANY difference, unless icing of your TB counts. It happened to me before, and I won't be bypassing any TBs in the future.
