hmm..

well if i had 10k to waste on my car

from stock
1k, mrev , spacer, gutted cats, custom xpipe with borla exhaust.
1k, cams (DIY)
3k, headers and haltech (diy)
1k, 4.08 gears plus install
4k, valve springs, studs, porting and polishing

and some slicks. and you can see 12s

then you wanna do clutch and flywheel
and suspension mods, because nothing is more exciting then turning at 110 plus

lol i say, drive it like you stole it..

if nothing has broken in 2-3 years of driving your car,
there is something wrong with your driving.
or you own a toyota lol

Get the *** outta here, you couldnt even handle a 14 second Z let alone a 10 second Z.

1) Buy a Z
2) learn how to drive it for a few years
3) buy performance mods if you want
^What he said. Honestly, you need to not worry about buying parts for a car that you don't own yet (maybe never, you might change your mind who knows). I bought my car, learned how to drive it for about a year and a half, then basically sold my soul for FI.

This kinda crap irritates me...."when i get my Z, I'm gonna buy this, this, and that part for it...."

great, good luck, come back and talk to us when you have the car, and have the dollars to mod it.

way too muck money for a buncha **** lol. if he wants 10's for that money he needs to buy a foxbody stang or a g35... haha jk about the g35 part but not about the mustang. if you want a 10 sec car you need to get an american car like a mustang or trans am, parts are cheaper and they are easier to work on.

basically all im asking is how much $ do you think you'd need to put into a 350z to make it a 10 second car (aside from the driver, most important piece).

if not a 10 second car, how fast do you think 10,000 in strictly performance upgrades could get me? thanks a lot guys.

if you are simply choosing this car b/c of its popularity....you need to choose another car to mod. $10Gs won't even get you close. The Z is extremely expensive to mod and only a hand full of shops know the VQ well enough to build what you are after. Buy the car, save a minimum of $30k and then start your quest. Otherwise, I see an EVO or STi in your future. lol. For what it costs to get this car into the 10s, you can buy a Z06.

LOL @ the idea of installing Cams in your garage...you have fun with that one.

but on a serious note...buy a mark IV supra with over 100k for as much as you can get a Z for and start from there.
