Looking for A/F Guage. .any Suggestions?
i've looked around and searched but no 1 threads talks about what's a good guage to buy. .my buddy has an EVO and has the aem $300 guage that comes with an o2 sensor. .but i think i'd have to tap my exhaust to install it. .im not looking to do that, although he tells me that it's the best one out. .anyone have an idea?

You are going to have to tap into the test pipes. PM Black Guy (Performance Factory)on here and he can set you up with whatever you need

yeah thats the AEM guage i was talking about. .and yeah i was trying to get the most accurate one with out tapping it into my exhaust. .if there is only the narrow band one's then i guess i'll just have to tap my exhaust. .thanx for those links. .

yeah i figured. .here is a thought that i was thinking about. .lets say i don't tap the exhaust.. but i use the existing hole for the new sensor and from that i splice the signal wire together with my OG sensor in order to get a reading for my ECU(of course i'd be powering it as well). .could that be doable?. .it's just a thought but it might work. .

PLX is another good wideband. I ran a few of them and worked great.
You can try replacing one of the stockers with the wideband all in all, but on a stock ECU it might get some hiccups.

I'm Adam...no idea who HAL is
All are excellent units, at the end of the day it depends what you want it to do and where you want to mount it
If you want a straight forward gauge with no extra features, the AEM is awesome - far and away the most popular one we sell. The Innovate and PLX units are a bit more feature heavy for logging, etc.

all the info is on our website:
http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...mt&prodid=1554
I've never used it to replace the factory sensor on a Z, only on Evo/STi/WRX. Not sure how/if that would work on a Z since a Z has 4 sensors total due it it being a V series engine

but it's capable of replacing the o2's on the car correct?. .well tell me this. .when you replace it on those other car's you've mentions say on an evo 4 example. .do you still plug in signal wire's for the ecu's readings for no CEL?. like is there a plug on the unit for the original o2 to be pluged into. .yes no. .or do you connect signal wires somehow. .how would you do it? .. . .

As I said I have no idea if it is capable of doing it on a Z or not - I would tend to say no, since a Z has 4 sensors total, vs 2 for inline/flat engines our customers have used them on.
For any wideband on a Z, count on welding a bung in and running your own sensor- at least that's how I would do it, to prevent any signal degredation, potential ecu issues, etc.
