Default Did a dyno run today.

As soon as my roommate gets home and shows me how to use the scanner I'll post up the slip. My best out of 3 runs was 248.2whp & 243.0tq. Mods are NISMO CAI and Greddy EVO TT exhaust. This was on a Dyno Dynamics dyno. Is that about right for my mods?

Edit: Don't know if it matters or not, but runs were done in 4th gear.

There were a lot of 4 bangers out today. One guy with a Mazda SPD3 put down 291whp ???tq. A SRT4 put down 269whp ???tq. The guy in the STR4, as I was pulling my car out said "With him only putting that down I could burn him". I didn't say anything back b/c I wasn't gonna get into a "Let's Run'em" debate. The pic is from my phone so sorry if for quality.

Not bad at all, HRs are putting down 260-270ish stock.

intake doesnt do much. now go drop test pipes and a plenum spacer (15 whp over what you dynoed more than likely) on, and some 3.9 or 4.1 gears... then go talk to the guy with that ugly pocket rocket ^^

as for mazdaspeed 3's....those cars are ALMOST a sleepermobile lol, they can make big power easy.

Good solid numbers, especially for your mods. And don't let the tool with a fail-wheel-drive Neon get to you. Although, you're a better person than I am - I'd probably have told him that even though he's faster, his car's still a Neon.

I was tempted to offer him a race from dig, but he probably would have said no to it anyway. IMO N/A power and F/I power are two different things. Not to mention he is not a day over 20.

shouldve offered to race him around the nearest road course. then point and laugh as he understeered into a wall tryin to keep up rofl.

If you raced the SRT4, you would have been an idiot. You shouldn't let people like that get to your mind. Think like a philosopher, as Epictetus would always say.

Question, why the EvoTT? I hope you weren't expecting gains with that exhaust on your NA car. I doubt you would get much, if any at all.

I'd probably have to agree with the SRT4 guy, but he wouldn't win by all that much - he'd hardly "burn" you as he said. It was just bad taste for him to be saying that.

Ya, but like I said, he was just a kid. The car was stock except for a boost controller and Typhoon CAI. He turned up the boost every run trying to make more power. We all thought he poped it the 3rd run b/c it backfired BAD. After that he didn't run again.
