well i jus got back to the track and my check engine light has been on. I ran consecitive 14 flat all day. I was wondering if i go get the matenience done if i could break into the 13's?

 

If engine light comes on might be to do with incorrect emissions reading perhaps in your cats, if when it gets sorted i doubt will make your car run quicker

 

You need to learn something about your car besides standing on the gas pedal. Nobody can answer your question until you check the codes. Go to Advance Auto and have them read the CEL codes. Some codes are a result of conditions that will NOT affect how your engine runs. Others, indicate a condition which will make your engine run noticeably badly. Good luck.

 

you probly would have noticed if it was affecting your car. CEL can be just about anything. most that dont do anything and the rest obviously hurt the performance. there are very few that are caused by something that barely hurts performance
