Default Forged Tuned Haltech on stock motor w/ bolt ons & cams results!

Hey guys, I had my car tuned at Forged Performance in Atlanta Georgia today, and first and foremost I must say that the overall experience has been amazing! Sharif is a great guy and amazing tuner and really knows how to get the results your looking for out of your car. The tuning went great, the Haltech runs and drives great and the performance gain is AMAZING! The car feels so alive and just does not want to stop revving! Sharif is going to be e-mailing me dyno sheets and specifics later but I will put up the numbers I have now so you guys can get an idea. My car was strapped onto the dyno a little before 11AM this morning and put down 3 consistent runs of 244whp +/- 1hp. After about 7 hours of tuning and multi-tasking on Sharif's part the car came out putting down 261.6whp. Keep in mind this is all on a Dyno-Dynamics AWD dyno so it reads very low. According to what I am told by some other people a good way to measure Dyno Dynamics vs Dynojet Hp is to add 13% and thats your dynojet number. This puts me at 295.6WHP dynojet (guesstimate) I am VERY happy at this power level and feel this was a very worthwhile and necessary mod to anyone who wants truelly well running car. I drove 7 hours one way from Cincinnati and stayed in atlanta for 3 days just to have Sharif & Forged work on my car and I couldnt be happier with my car or my experience. Please let me know what you guys think and feel free to post or PM me with any questions. My mods are in my signature and I will post up the dyno sheets as soon as I get the e-mail from Sharif.

Nick

good deal dude....bet you can feel the difference right. btw what tq numbers did you see.

i hate to be a downer but i doubt you would see 294 on DJ. my freind with a g35 was tuned at forged and put down 239 on their DD and then put down 249 on red stars DJ.

Thanks for making the trip guys. Hopefully you don't get into too much trouble tonight in Atlanta.

See you in the morning....before your drive back home. I will post up the dyno chart tomorrow.

Thanks for the feedback, Like i said im not sure of the Dynjet conversion just what i was told, if you know better than me let me know. The car definately feels much more alive and rushes through the gears now. Im not sure on the torque numbers yet but when the dynos come up im sure everything will be clear.

Here is the dyno chart. I am very pleased with the capabilities of the new Haltech PnP. With each firware and software revision, the system gains functionality and stability. Looking good so far!

should be a blast to drive now! stilll...with cams, boltons, and standalone engine management I'd hope to see like 285 whp...no lower than 275 even on a DD. regardless, shall be fun. +17 whp ftmfw!

Our NA record on the Dyno Dynamics with a built motor, cams, and the kitchen sink was 272whp. I know a lot of people have hovered in the 290 range on a DynoJet...so all these cars are in the ballpark.

I am thinking with maybe a Cosworth plenum, or something to keep the power trending up just a little bit further...might help pick up another 10whp, and a flatter power?

Wow, that's a tremendous improvement on an NA motor. I'll bet you can really feel the difference.

Always nice to see people improving their NA VQ35's...

Great work! And congrats on your setup.

However the only way to see what numbers you get on a DJ is to go there not assume.. so hit yourself for assuming, and take your car to a DJ so we can see what kind of torque you make.
