Default My Dyno Results.. Unsatisfied. (Graph)

I have the following mods:

Injen True Dual Angled Exhaust
MD 5/16" Plenum Spacer
JWT PopCharger
Helix Test Pipes

Here are my results: (sorry for the bad pic but you get the idea). It is corrected Im 5k above sea level.

I thought I was running a bit lean and a tune would get me a good amount of HP but it turns out I am not lean, and I don't think a reflash would get me too much.

Anyone have any suggestions? I thought I would at least be over 250whp with these mods.. I am so disatisfied.

you are running too rich, up top, thus hurting your peak horsepower, 12:1 is hellified rich for N/A. headers will help you lean out of bit up top. even then i would still recommend a reflash. headers + reflash will get you up into the 270's maybe into the 280's.

ya with wishful thinking. 270s maybe high 260s is more realistic.

nah, he has almost every breather mod as is. look, i figure he is running rich as well up top and is still almost 250whp. a good flash will net him a minimum of 10whp. almost 260 at that point. headers with a tune should net another 10whp minimum. god i hate using ricer math but you kinda have to in this case, just for speculation purposes. i honestly believe, headers and tune could net him 20whp+, i dont think thats unrealistic.

Thats exactly what I noticed. I was shocked to see the 12.5:1 ratio... Time for some more breather mods. I think even with the headers I will be running a good A/F ratio without a tune.

That looks about right to me. I had more mods than that when I was NA and made less power.

Forget headers. Just get a piggyback and tune it, you'll make your best gains by doing that.

I think with alphawerks headers I can make another 8-10whp, and make it to 250.. at least gains are proven with those headers and I can buy them and install them for the price of UTEC.

Did you ever do a baseline dyno before any mods?

i would agree that getting some sort of tuning software would be the safest bet for leaning that afr out, and at leat you can control it

Remove the JWT and install K&N and stock boxes. That will give you some power back. Your test pipes are causing your lean condition. Without a ECU tune, you won't be able to fix that.

Basic bolt on na mods will dissapoint. A tune will at least get u running more safe, but I wouldn't expect any big power gains.

Unfortunately there's no guarantee of power increase when combinng various breather mods on our cars.

Op, Don't let the dyno get to u, enjoy ur car.

Actually no they give you power back by putting the stock air boxes back in. After Market Intakes make you lose power or don't gain any. Most of the time it's the first part.

03-08 Boxes putting intakes have shown zill for gains, and most of the time you lose low end.
