When I press the gas to accelarate forward or reverse I get this "clank" sound coming from the rear of the car. It only does it once untill I come to a stop and need to accelerate again. One of my buddies said it sounds like the differential? Anyone else has this issue? Hope the dealership doesnt blame it on my aftermarket parts... ...btw car has only 22k miles on it

Google "350z rear axle click tsb" minus the quotes and you should be able to find what you need. (I think you may be able to google "TSB 04-065" and get what you need as well.

 

Let me guess: you just upgraded to aftermarket sway bars? I had the same issue when I did mine - literally within days of upgrading. Infiniti replaced the endlinks with a new design for free as well as following the procedure in the TSB mentioned above.

 

if you havent changed your differential fluid in a while, id change it just to get that factor out of the way... it cost like $40 at any oil changer place...
