I just had it changed...I did consider doing it myself...but it seems problematic to jack the car up high enough safely in a driveway. Considering this I found a local speed shop that did the change for $400 in labor. I provided the new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, throw-out bearing and pilot bearing, which I picked up for about $440 with shipping.
Here is where I purchased the parts, so far no complaints having it in for 2 weeks. I hope this helps.

Like a total idiot I just went on ebay and bought the factory service manual on cd rom for $12. I did the trans myself just make sure you pick up a t55 torx for the flywheel. Its so easy.

thanks for all your inputs. yes im mechanically inclined and am capable of doing the work myself. Just wanted to see if anyone had any complications in doing the clutch.. does the clutch fork have to be slid into the throwout bearing? im more familiar with the v8 camaros and the clutch fork being conected to the pressure plate..thanks again

We "under-1000-post" people don't have the knowledge to know what a search button is.
