Default And the other guage

Would it be ok to hook up a oil temp guage by using one of those oil filter block things and taping into it or is there a more accurate way and easier way to get a oil temp reading?

Edit one of these things???

Yep, I used the Greddy Block adapter to mount my AEM oil temp sending unit. Works great.

The other way to do it would be to tap your oil pan, or an oil pan spacer. AAM has a spacer that's already tapped.

Is your oil temp gauge electric or mechanical? I imagine electrical?

Does that greddy block plate require a 1/8" NTP fitting sending unit?

Yeah, the AEM is electrical.

The Greddy Block adaptor has several ports with different thread patterns. So it should be able to accomodate most sending units.

ok thanks.

Does anybody think it's neccisary to spend 75 bucks shipped for a greddy sandwhich plate or will this E-bay CNC'd plate work?

Looks like the same basic crap just no greddy logo. I'm skeptical about ebay stuff but it does say it's CNC machined.

Finally figured out what gauges I'm going with just getting the bits and pieces together.
