Been using Amsoil 0w-30 for about 12k miles now. No problems in winter, zero consumption either.

Used Motul 8100 5W30 - but after reading the oil analysis thread I switched to Mobil 1 0w40. I've used Mobil 1 in all my cars with great results and I've used the 0w40 in my wife's VW and Audi both turbo.
I personally think it's great especially when you can get a deal for $30 including a Mobil1 filter...
