Default whistling/squeaking noise while accelerating?

Is there suppose to be a sort of whisting noise at the front of the car when accelerating? I notice this odd sort of noise when my windows are down that kinda sounds like a cross between a whistle, belt sqeaking and an air leak when I press in the gas about 50%. If I floor it, there is no noise though. This happens in any gear. The car does have a pop charger on it. Could that be it, or should I have the shop check it out? I hate going to the shop here, and I do not have a stock air box to test to see if the pop charger is the cause. Mechanically, it feels like it's is running perfect. Just an annoyance.

If you just put a new intake and its making that noise it may be normal. NOW if it cam out of no where. It sounds to be a vacuum leak it needs to be fixed now. Its probable runnning really lean IFFFFFF its a vacuum leak.

I've only had the car for 2 months now and it made that sound ever since I purchased it (pop charger came with the car). At first, I thought it was normal, but now it's starting to annoy the crap out of me since I've been driving with the windows down more often.

Yep, its likely from the popcharger. Mine makes a slight whistling sound occasionally.

You have the front wheel drive version of the Z. You are spinning your front wheels.

popcharger is the culprit but is normal. You will start hearing the whistle noise at about 3,500 rpm's, watch.
