Default Trans Replacement Dilemma

Ok, so.

I just had my transmission replaced earlier today, due to some noise and shifting issues. They also replaced the clutch disk and pressure plate. Anyway, the car is performing a lot better now with much stronger traction and cornering performance. However, I am noticing a strange winding metallic noise when accelerating heavily from low RPM's. you cant really hear it past 4k or so due to the noise of the engine. It is nothing drastic or terrible sounding but it is definitely there.

Either way i am concerned with the type of fluid they put into the trans. I have read that GL5 fluid will destroy the syncros in our transmission, and for some reason i am under the impression that they put this fluid in (probably because of the strange noise).

I do realize though, that this noise might be because the trans needs some time to be broken in... as i said it was put in earlier today. i am considering changing the trans fluid myself just to be sure that they did not use the wrong fluid. i feel like a call to them will be useless...

does anyone have any thoughts or ideas?

oh and 2004 Touring with 50k.

Feel it out for a week or two and if you think there is still a problem go get you self another brand new trans.
