Default Trans problem in a 07 Z

Hi all, I am having problems with my 2007 Z. When ever I shift from 1st gear to 2nd. Theres a pop followed by a grind. Pop out of 1st...Grind/pop into 2nd. I dont have any problems with the rest of the gears. This happens about 8 out of 10 times that I drive the car.
I called the dealership and told them that I will be bringing it in on Friday to have it looked at.
Any ideas of what I should do when I get there or what I should say? Id hate for them to tell me its fine (when its not) and send me on my way.

Little bit more info... The car has less the 3000 miles on it, I bought it new back in March. I dont know if it work has been done on it.

search- slave cylinder recall
that should help...

if you bought it new back in march, then wouldnt you have an 08 Z not an 07 Z as mentioned (unless you bought the 07 leftovers)

yeppers i bought from 07 leftovers... It was the color I wanted
Had about 100 miles on her.

Thanks for the search tip... I did look into it. I fall into the range of the VIN #. I will ask the dealer about it. But I have not received a letter stating that I need to get it replaced.

Follow up-

I called Nissan and they said that the dealer reported that they did fix the slave cylinder back in January. Hmm. So it must be something else...

man take it to get it fixed, it should still be under warranty. I had my tranny replaced twice, lol, and I only have 14k on my car! No it wasn't because of my driving, lol

go back to them and ask to have it looked at again..should not be a hassle and no cost since its a recall and you want to make sure it was done
