Tomorrow we are going to flash the new map on my car and then dyno it again!!! Chris is actually on vaca so I'm not going to post any info for him but he was very happy. We actually raced each other and for the first time he was pulling on me. And that was before the extra 5hp. His car dyno'd at 255. He only has the crawford plenum, PE exhaust, and the SMT6. I will update you guys with more info and graphs as soon as possible. Thanks once again for all the interest......

My car right now is running stronger than ever right now, the tq increase is amazing.

I always thought that stock 6MT cars were making 235-245 at the wheels. Come have even claimed 250. I am not sure if these are SAE corrected or not, but I certainly have seen these claims. Personally, I have not dynoed my car, but I plan on doing so.
As a side note, I am very interested in this mod. Please keep us posted and get the installs and dynos done.

It is hard to say what most cars dyno stock due to the variance in conditions and dynos. Thats why we are only posting the gains compared to base runs on the same dyno. I dyno'd my car back in Nov and on that dyno got over 250hp converted to std, but everyone else has had there #'s converted to sae, which is the right way to do it. All of our dyno runs are done at www.idaautomotive.com and results will be posted from other members. Like I previously posted, my car with the minor mods it had before the smt6 dyno's at 237, and after adding and tuning the SMT6 it had 253. More to come!

Euro spec cars will have 276hp instead of 287hp (similar to JDM, Oz specs) I guess our fuel mappings need to be a little more conservative due to EU emmission regs and high octane fuel availability in some areas (though Shell 98RON Optimax is widely available in the UK). 'Switchable' fuel mappings would be of benifit for some of us with poorer fuel availablity.
I looks like Euro spec cars might gain a lot more power from the SMT6.

hey jason. i tried to email you, but email isnt working. anyways, I was wondering if you guys have decided to develop something for the 6MT G35 Sedan yet. I am sure the gains will be even more signifigant with the sedan. Do you think it is possible to combine the technosquare ecu flash with your piggyback unit? I am getting my sedan flashed as of right now. if you need, i will offer my car for testing. also, i am in cali, so thus running the 91 octane. please give me a future forcast. thank you.

I've had the SMT6 on for about a week and a half. I gotta say, the power gain is definitely there, especially in the midrange, where it's often used. The car has more punch in a useful area. I'm starting to find myself tacking on more speed than I expect, which is definitely a good thing. Definitely a difference you can feel! Jason had the car in the shop while I was on vacaciones so I haven't gotten to play around with the updated program.
I'm curious about the dyno; I'm worried the PE exhaust may actually not be showing gains at all, in which case, it is going in the sh!tcan. I'll do a baseline with the bypass plug in to see what the ECU is netting.

Daytona,
Its me and you at the track tomorrow.. You are running about 255hp and I'm running about 258. Lets see if you learned how to drive while being in Arizona.
