For drag, its fine.
For autox you may want to look into a 1.5 way

Th Tomei is a drop in for VLSD cars only. For base models, additional parts will be needed - pm us for pricing, we carry them. Biggest limitation to the Tomei is it's not adjustable, and for road race/autox, a 2 way is the last thing you would want. Upside is its affordability

My Cusco RS performed flawlessly at the dragon, even in the wet, I was never able to once even spin a tire

I've had a Tomei 2-way for about half a year now. It works wonderfully. Originally, I was interested in the Kaaz, but Gerry at CarV2 talked me into the Tomei. It's more affordable and it claims to have treated discs that I would have had to pay Kaaz extra for. I think this treatment is some type of shot peening. Anyhow, I did the install myself. It was a lot of fun, but took a lot of time and money. Mostly, because I bought some special tools. I probably would have spent the same just paying a transmission shop to do it.
After the install, I spent about 25 minutes doing figure 8's before I got kicked out of the parking lot. I got a decent break in. Recently, the low speed noises have changed from loud (tension releasing) bangs to just vibrating/chattering. By the way, I'm running Redline, as recommended by Tomei USA. Performance wise, I'm extremely satisfied. The first thing I noticed was that I could apply much more power out of turns. Drifting performance is phenomenal. I think that's what it's for. My wife hates it and everyone at the supermarket parking lot gives me funny looks. I can deal with that.

Tomei Techincal Trax on the left, Stock VLSD on the right.

none of the 2 way diffs are drop ins for a base model, all will require additional parts

I'm going to revise my post #3 till I speak to Tomei today , or a user can confirm - sometimes they tell me it needs additional parts for a base, sometimes they tell me it doesn't. Their site says it does not, but you can't have a diff that fits both base and VLSD equipped cars without some additional parts.

Lawn Dart - did you have to change the output shaft?
