i just had my 009 put in and it worked sooo well for about a month and now it feels like sh*t. hard 1-2 / 2-3 / 3-4 shifts, sometimes will lock me out of 6th, extreme shudder/rattling noises... just the same exact bullsh*t that came on the original trans. i am bringing my Z in this week to have this, and sooo many other issues taken care of. stupid nissan with their stupid half-*** trans.

^^+1 I wish they would just overhaul the whole design of their 6 speeds. So many issues from so many different years and users.. My dad has a '98 Altima with a 5 speed and has had NO issues exept replacing the clutch at around 230K miles. Still runs excellent and shifts smoothly. Wish I could say the same about my cd008(?) with 80K...

Had my original [2003] tranny replaced with a CD009, still clunky as hell, worse than my 95 ford probe from highschool. Probably my only complaint about the car.

Non sequitur: Are we a Bauhaus/Sisters/Pink Dots gothchick, a Skinny Puppy/Chemlab/Throbbing Gristle gothchick, a VNV/Apop/Assemblage gothchick...? [random]

Lol @ teh randomz. Yes we are definitely old school goth with contemporary industrial grind thrown in for good measure. Andrew Eldritch from Sisters & Ogre from teh Puppy are a few of my idles. VNV type EBM is always very danceable in the gothic style, but right now I'm more into hard core goth chick bands like Jack off Jill, My Ruin, Otep, Scarling...:-)
