if you think about it.. it makes perfectly good sense..

the ATI sits forward of the intake, the Stillen one sits ontop of the intake manifolds..

route the belt from the manifold to the centrifugal blower and you'd have some crazy power! wee!

Couldn't we use a twin turbo kit to pressurize the ATI blower which would pressurize the Stillen blower. That should be enough to pop the heads off of the motor, but the sound it make for the 3 seconds of the motors life would be incredible.

first of all skk100 good luck on the stillen supercharger. it puts out 309rwhp at 5.6psi which is not bad. if anybody wants to watch the video goto http://www.350zforum.com/. its at the top were it has a high and low res. i also heard stillen is planning on making a water to air intercooler which will sandwich between the intake and blower. you will not have to moddify the hood anymore it was already worked in from the beganning. there also going to add different pulley for boost up 10 psi. that in theory whould make it a 400rwhp monster. only catch is for 10psi on a 10.3 compression means you would have to buy something like stillen off road headers to remove the cats to run that safely

cheston : still waiting to see what you will do with pe turbo or its greddy for me. hope all works out for you

Well I picked up my Z today. It feels awesome with the Stillen supercharger. I drove it in LA traffic for 2 hours and the temperature gauge didnt budget from stock. I love the whine when I slam the throttle. My only question to Stillen on Monday is I hear a slight ping at low speeds. Does anyone know anything about the engine pinging at low speeds at full throttle? I will take some pictures tomorrow and post them.

Both are pending CARB certification.......ATI has many, many other supercharger kits for lots of different cars.........the street versions have all received CARB certs.......i dunno how far off Stillen's cert is

Default Post Pics?

Can you post some photos of all of your mods? I am very curious to see how your Z looks and performs.

The pinging you hear might be detonation.......i would tell them about this........detonation is fuel igniting earlier than it's supposed to.......it's a bad thing

An intercooler could help this.......but i think Stillen is only offering the intercooler for off-road applications

The pinging most likely is detonation. This can be from lack of fuel or to much heat. You may want to run some colder spark plugs. If you get the Denso's Iridium's they are pre gapped. If you don't get the Denso's, stay away from the Platinums and gap them around .032-.035. This might do the trick for you. But, you need to take care of this as soon as possible, because detonation is very bad. Make sure you go one heat range colder...I think this might do the trick.

The sparkplugs were changed to the ones Stillen suggested. I have a call into Stillen but no response yet. Does anyone know the downside of adding an octane booster to each tank of gas? Could this potentially stop the pinging?

The octane booster may work, try it. But, it will only temporary solve the problem. You may also turn down your timing, that will help you out or even eliminate the knocking. What are your plugs gapped at?

Yeah, octane booster could help, but make sure you don't waste your money on the store bought ones. Buy some toluene or xylene, they are what is really inside those store bought boosters. Toluene is like 114 octane and xylene is like 117 octane.
