I'm gonna be running 20" rims in the back, so my ratio is gonna suffer a tad with acceleration. I've been trying to dig some nfo on R200 gear swaps. Looks like nismo has a 4.444 and even a 5.12 gear upgrade for the R200 floating around, older Z's not 2003 so I'm worried if the R200 has been majorily modified, or hopefully I can swap. right now with the 3.5 gear, I would like to atleast step up to a 4.12 or so, but 4.444 would be awsome. Hey Jeff @ Courtesy Nissan, if you read this, do you know if you can get those gear upgrades from Nismo for the R200??? For the R200 and not the R200V that is, I have a base model with no LSD. Thanks for the link 2 the app, definately useful

We ran the calculations on this...

Going from our 3.5 to a 4.10 will net you faster times in the 100 ft, and 600ft... but in the 1.4 mile you will have the SAME time and actually have lower trap speeds.

More so, if you were to go FI... you'd be having to shift like its a motorcycle.

NO THANKS.
